This building was from 1882. The building was restored in 91-96 and is now home to the Ukrainian national Philharmonic.
Khreschaty Park
This is a cultural and entertainment complex from 1881. The shell of the stage survived until the 1970s when it was demolished to make room for the Arch of friendship of the Peoples which is dedicated to the unification of Russia and Ukraine. It is a metal rainbow with a Russian and Ukrainian workers holding up the Soviet order of friendship of the Peoples and a granite image of the participants of the Pereyaslavska Rada in 1654. There is a platform near the monument that over looks parts of the city.
